Custom Design

We have two options for custom sensors, both offering a cost-effective route depending on your needs and specifications.  A Full Custom option designed to your specifications in all aspects and features, or the Customisation of a Generic Sensor, whereby a standard sensor with partial functionality can be customised to your specifications.   This is the lower-cost option and is suitable for most applications, providing comprehensive capability.

1. Full Custom -100% fully custom-designed from the ground up, this includes all functionality, sensor types and detection range, sensitivity, I/O - Wireless or wired, operation temperature range, physical dimensions and custom shapes and fixings, etc.  This option is higher cost than option 2 and takes a little longer to complete.
2. Customisation of a Generic Sensor – uses a universal core design achieved by adding plug-in elements that provide I/O and Sensor choices, and in a customer-specific area of the embedded sections of either SoC or CPLD.  The customer's operational and communication functions are programmed into the Customer area of the SoC/CPLD as required (based on a generic sensor PCB board).  It is possible to have a custom housing adapted to suit your fixings and shape/size.  Lower cost & faster to market.
